I have found a tiny park with a lake (and kayaks) hidden in the heart of St. Peters! While looking for a restaurant on Mid Rivers Mall Drive on Google Maps, I saw this little lake and it said it had a playground. The next day, I loaded the boys into the car to explore this little park.
I'm so glad we went! This playground was not huge by any means, but the perfect size for a quick time to play outdoors for my younger kids! The rubber mulch was a great landing for any falls!
Of course the most noticeable feature is the big brown bear, like the one at Indian Camp Creek Park. Kiddos climb up the stairs to walk across the bear which leads to two slides and a tunnel to climb through to another landing with a smaller slide!
The saucer swing was a huge hit for us!
Bathrooms and a large pavilion were close by, between the lake and the playground!
There was a nice, paved trail that went around the lake, too! There's an easily accessible kayak launch - and did I mention you could rent kayaks there?! It's through an app and only $25 for two hours!
We had so much fun exploring this little park and can't wait to go back to try kayaking sometime soon!
Have you played here? Would you play here? Let me know in the comments!!
