Upon entering the park is the first playground on the right hand side. It’s a wooden structure with a wood chip ground cover. There’s lots of climbing structures, a tire swing plus other swings, tall seesaw and of course slides. The favorite part of this park was the fire fighter pole to slide down. There’s ample parking, a restroom, creek access, pavilion, and trails that start at this playground.
Just a little bit down the road, further into the park, is another massive playground! This one is a newer playground and is much more stroller accessible. The ground is covered in turf which is little more friendly for younger children to play on. There’s a rope swing, several climbing features, a water play area, a climbing obstacle course, a smaller playground set for younger ones, and so much more! This playground was huge, and even though they were several families there, there was plenty for everyone to play on.
The favorite feature on this park was the brown bear and the obstacle climbing feature which leads to both of the biggest slides. While this playground is for children 5-12, my two-year-old had a great time playing on this one. This playground overlooks the beautiful pond with fishing access, and has more trails around it. If you have a child that runs, this may not be the playground for you as there’s not a fence around the pond or the playground.
After we enjoyed some time at this playground we did take a walk around the pond which was absolutely beautiful with all the fall colors. Had we packed a lunch it would’ve been easy to eat our lunch at one of the tables in the multiples of picnic tables or pavilions.
If you continue up the hill, there is an old silo, a homestead foundation, disc golf, and another playground. We weren’t able to stop at this playground as my two were already tuckered out from playing at the other two playgrounds.
Overall I would give this park a 10 out of 10. There’s so much to do, so much to see, so much to explore, and so many playgrounds to play on.
