Welcome to Day 2 of 21 Days of Indoor Play! Today, we are crossing into Illinois to visit a spot that is at the top of my list for toddlers and preschoolers: Blossom Play Cafe.

Music, Art, and "Cookie Bookie"

While the open play is fantastic, the classes at Blossom are truly some of the best in the St. Louis area. We absolutely loved the energy of their music and art classes.

Cookie Bookie: This is a fan favorite! It includes a story, songs, and a cookie to decorate. It’s such a sweet way to socialize your kids.

Music Together: These sessions are so high-energy and perfect for building those early rhythm skills.

Process Art: They focus on "child-led" art, which means your kids get to be creative without the pressure of making a perfect product.

Themed Playrooms Your Kids Will Love

The space is broken into adorable themed rooms that encourage imaginative play. My boys made a beeline for:

The Motor Room: This is where they burn off that "big energy" with cars and a mini gas station.

The Fire Truck: With costumes and toys! The main area is packed with a car ramp and a massive Magnatile station.

Vet Clinic: Adorable, high-quality structures where they can pretend to save the day or take care of animals.

The Separate Baby Room

If you are a mom of three like me, you know the struggle of keeping a baby safe while the big kids run. Blossom Play Cafe has a dedicated, baby room with toys specifically at their level.

The Cafe Experience

Let’s talk about the coffee! They serve Goshen Coffee (a local Edwardsville favorite), so you’re getting a real latte, not just "waiting room coffee." They also have board games in the cafe area, so you can actually engage with your kids or a friend while you sip.
