It's OFFICIALLY spring in the Midwest!

The birds are chirping! The days are becoming a little longer! Daffodils are blooming! There's pollen all over the place leaving everyone suffering from seasonal allergies. And of course, it's raining!

After days of being stuck indoors with my two toddlers, I was desperate to find some fun things to do in St. Louis on a rainy day! Here's a list of our favorite top 10 things to do with toddlers in St. Louis on a rainy day.

The Magic House
516 S Kirkwood Rd, St. Louis, MO 63122

Always a favorite, The Magic House is more than 55,000 square feet of indoor play for children of all ages. There's so much do here, from pretending to be a construction worker in a front loader, to exploring magnets, playing with train sets, and creating art until your heart is content, the Magic House is sure to kick those rainy day blues. I will say, the Magic House notoriously gets busy, especially on rainy days.

Myseum
283 Lamp and Lantern Village, Town and Country, MO

A smaller science center and children's museum designed for kids 2 and up! I love that admission is good for ALL DAY so if you need to leave for lunch, you can come back and play afterwards, too! The zoo vet clinic is our favorite!

15050 Faust Pk Dr, Chesterfield, MO 63017

It's so warm inside, filled with beautiful trees, flowers, and of course butterflies, that it's easy to forget that the weather outside is dreary. I love the butterfly house for the conservatory, but also the small children's area with puzzles, books, and other activities pertaining to butterflies.

St. Louis Carousel
15055 Faust Pk Dr, Chesterfield, MO 63017

Right next door to the Butterfly House is the St. Louis Carousel! This old carousel has beautiful horses and animals to ride around and around to the vintage circus music. I wouldn't consider this an all day things, but it is fun to stop by after visiting the Butterfly House.

5700 Lindell Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63112

The Missouri History Museum invites kids to take a step back in time and dress up as locals from decades ago. The Children's Museum is amazing, but the rest of the museum is worth checking out, too! The airplane suspended from the ceiling is always a favorite from our double stroller.

Urban Fort
1854 Russell Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63104

An adorable indoor playground that also offers delicious food and coffee from it's neighbor, Gather Cafe!

This Nature Center has several things to see, touch, and learn about the native plants and animals of Missouri. We have so much fun playing with puppets, counting fish in the aquariums, and watching several birds.

St. Louis County Library–Meramec Valley Branch
1501 San Simeon Way, Fenton, MO 63026

This may be one of my favorite libraries we've gone to! Not only is it a library full of children's books, there's a life size dollhouse with a play kitchen and dolls, an air/ pipe feature to explore with scarves, touchscreen televisions with several games, a car ramp, and so much more. We could spend a few hours playing here!

St. Louis Science Center
5050 Oakland Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110

The Science Center has something for everyone. From the Discovery Room for children ages 6 months to 6 years old, to the gaming exhibit or even the planetarium, everyone can find something new to learn about here!

Play Street Museum
1650 Beale St #138, St Charles, MO 63303

A smaller scale of a children's village with a firetruck! The firetruck was our favorite! There's not really a spot for children who are walking yet, but they do have a smaller section with books and wooden blocks to play with. There's a few add-ons you can do, like making slime. I would have loved to spend all day here with the ticket price being higher than other indoor play areas, but we typically spend 90 minutes here.

Enchanted Playroom
1155 Bryan Rd, O'Fallon, MO 63366

Another indoor playground, this time in St. Charles County. They open early - at 9 am! The first 2 adults are free per child, which is great if you're going as a family. There's so much to play with here!
