We had so much fun exploring this children’s museum in Southeast Missouri. Discovery Playhouse is a member of the ACM Reciprocal Network so because of our membership to @themagichouse we got to play here, too!
It was perfect for our boys ages 1 & 3. There was so many things to see and do and play on that I didn’t have time to get photos or video of everything.

I loved that each exhibit had plenty of things for kids to explore and actually feel like they were in a “grown up” world. The bank with the drive up and even working tube was so cool!!
The car mechanic area is always a hit, but on we haven’t seen is the full house set up! There was a milking cow with utters that had milk, chickens that were laying eggs and even a beehive! The construction working area and the firehouse was the boys favorite spots!
Upstairs was equally as neat, but I think kids a little bit older than mine would love it more! There’s an airplane and aviation tower for kids to climb up in!
Theres also a planetarium, workshop, dinosaur, outbreak, and ocean floor exhibit as well as an art lab! The stage and musical instrument area are also upstairs. We never seen a cosmetology play area where kids could play with multiple heads of hair!
There's a whole other area I didn't even get pictures of that's designed for smaller friends with climbing tubes, puzzles and blocks, a sensory area and breastfeeding room and even a calming corner!
If you’re in St. Louis, this is totally worth the 2 hour drive to come play here; just be sure to finish the day with Lamberts!
