Right next to the airport is one of the smallest towns of St. Louis County, Edmundson- the home of Edmundson Park. While the population may be small, this park was large and full of things to do!

Two playgrounds, a zip line swing, regular swings, a large pavilion with tables, two gazebos, a splash pad, a stage and even a track with workout equipment surrounded the entire park.

One playground was designed for the smaller kids and had a slide and even a climbing up slide. The other playground had multiple climbing features, including a rock climbing wall and three big slides! The zip line swing is always a hit, but the merry go round was a favorite today. Since we were close to the airport, it seemed fitting to have two airplane rockers on the playground, too. I loved that the flooring was made out of rubber, especially for new walkers.

The splash pad was really nice, even though the mushroom tree in the middle wasn’t working when we were there. A little ladybug and turtle had water spouts- Beckett loved climbing on those.

The entire park is extremely clean! There’s plenty of tables and benches around the playgrounds to see your kids wherever they’re playing. I’m sure there was a bathroom, but when Rhett had to go in the middle of playing in the splash pad, I could not find one quickly. Thankfully, there were bushes a little ways off. 🙈

One warning is to watch your speed when entering the park. The speed limit is 20 mph on the main road and there were officers out today. The park is right next to the police station, too.
