PlayGrand Adventures | Free Things to do in Dallas with Kids | Dallas Playgrounds

We made a last minute decision to make a trip to Dallas with the boys last weekend. After being stuck in the van all evening on Friday, we decided to let them burn off some energy at PlayGrand Adventures in Grand Prairie, TX. 

This playground was epic! As they say, everything is bigger in Texas, and this playground made sure of it. It was a massive, spread out playground with plenty of things for kids of all ages to play on. I'm not sure if I fully took everything in because there was so much, but the boys had a great time! 

One thing I've noticed about the DFW area is there are not very many trees, thankfully, there was plenty of shaded areas. 

There were plenty of swings! Swings for parents and babies to swing together, toddler swings, saucer swings, and regular swings. The entire playground was made from poured rubber or turf which made it a soft landing for our smaller, non walking friends. 

Climbing obstacle courses were not scarce! Several sections included some type of ropes course, both challenging and some geared towards smaller kids. While we spent the majority of our time in the spaces designed for smaller children, there were three other playgrounds to play on for the larger kids. We did make our way over there to climb up the course to the yellow ball and walk across the tightrope to the other side.

This playground was busy when we went, but even though there were several other families enjoying the park, there was still plenty of space and opportunities for everyone to play! 

We can't wait to come back to visit to play at this park again and see the remaining phases they plan on adding to the playground!
