I grew up going to St. Ferdinand park where the main highlight was always going to feed the ducks! I was so excited for our playdate today where I could show the boys the ducks, too. There's a number of playgrounds in St. Ferdinand Park, but this adorable Hot Air Balloon theme playground is on the backside of the park, right next to the pond.
While St. Ferdinand has a long paved walking trail, the path to the actual playground was a little washed out and hard to navigate with a stroller but not terrible. The playground is newer and so so cute! There's a side for smaller friends and for big kids. Both have slides and climbing opportunities.
There was one bench near the playground, but a few trees where another parent was sitting on a blanket she had brought from home. I'm not sure where the bathrooms were though I'm sure there were some there.
