I'm really not sure how our little man turned three. No one asked me if I was ready for him to exit the infant years and move on to toddler years. But, two was a good year. He became a big brother. He learned more words and songs.... lots of songs to sing to us ALL THE TIME. He became fully potty trained, which I hear is rare for boys. He made us laugh more than we knew was possible. He is such a funny kid that I just love being around. I hope his love for music, oatmeal with brown sugar and cinnamon, farm life, haircuts, and books never end. He's my favorite old soul and worthy of much celebration.
Since we went to Chicago and saw dinosaur bones in the Field Museum and play paleontologist in the Chicago's Children Museum, Rhett has been fascinated by dinosaurs. What better theme than 3-Rex for his third birthday!
I made this cute invite on Canva and was able to resize it to fit on a Facebook event invite, too. If you would like to use this theme, here's the link to edit this design!
I'm a huge fan for a good balloon garland, but I also loved this little green shimmer background I picked up from Target. The 3 balloon came from Hobby Lobby.
For food, I made the food signs on Canva using the same designs from the invitation. We had Dino Nuggets, Pterodactyl Pizzas (pizza bagels), Herbivore Food (veggie tray), and Sweetavores (dinosaur shaped cookies)
My aunt made this cute dinosaur cake!
I found cute dinosaurs at the Dollar Tree and spray painted them gold to match our theme. The party hats are from Hobby Lobby.
Rhett and his little friends, all born in December. We got little dinosaur eggs from Walmart for them to play paleontologist and uncover some dinosaur bones!
Us and our sweet, big boy!
