One of the prettiest places to visit in St. Louis is the MO Botanical Gardens. This top destination is almost 80 acres of beautiful gardens, including an almost 2 acre children's garden!

The Children's Garden is free for those 2 and under, and free for members on Tuesday. If you're visiting the area, it's $5 for those 3-13. Adults are free.

The area is pretty stroller friendly - there's a few areas which have a little tougher terrain, but is still manageable.  The play areas include slides, climbing areas, an area with musical instruments, sand pit with plenty of dump trucks, splash pond, picnic table, water area with boats, a play grocery store, several little libraries - that's just in this one little area.

Purchasing the membership to MO Botanical Garden also includes Shaw Nature Reserve and the Butterfly House. For our family, the membership was well worth all of the visits we will make this year!
