Our Master Bath Remodel For Under $100!

If you remember a few posts back I talked about how I really dreaded our master bath and bedroom. Though we have a really nice Jacuzzi tub and large shower, I have soaked in our tub a grand total of three times the past year because I couldn't get myself to unwind and relax in this bathroom.

Can you relate?

Because we're on Baby Steps 2, which means that we are busting tail to pay off debt, home improvement projects are kept as low cost as possible. This project was no different, and cost a grand total around $100!

While usually a gallon of paint is my first choice in quickly fixing up a room, I didn't have the energy to paint this vaulted ceiling bathroom so it stayed this color. Eventually, during our off season, we will go back and paint this room, but let's focus on how we only spent $100 to make this space so much more inviting.

It started with the flooring. You can see how I installed the new Carrara Marble flooring here

Then, we added these shelves from Menard's and placed glass containers full of sponges, epsom slats, bath fizzies, and soap bars.

Above the toilet, I made a funny sign using the Cricut. Since it's just the two of us in our bathroom, we think it's funny. If you're offended, well, it's a good thing it's our home and not yours. ;)

To give the sink a fresh start, we painted it using Rust-Oleum Aged Gray and gave it new pulls.

Now that everything is finished, I actually really like our bathroom. I can even relax and soak in the bath tub... when Teddy is not resting in the tub. ;)
