$125 for a family of 2 | October Grocery Haul

I think the question we get most often is, "What's your grocery budget"? If you've read a few of my posts, you know our grocery budget is $200 a month for our family of two, but we also serve dinner to multiple people throughout the week, and provide a dessert & snacks for our small group.

The reason I am able to stick to a grocery list, is because I've meal planned! Missed that FREE meal planner sheet? No worries, here's the link

I make enough dinner that there are leftover to eat for lunch the next day. For weekday breakfast, we eat fresh fruit or a bowl of oatmeal & coffee. On weekends, I will make a big breakfast and that will typically hold us over throughout our weddings or sessions.

In October, our dinner meals are:

Salsa Chicken & Rice
Spaghetti w/ Tomatoes & Spinach
Pizza
BBQ Meatloaf
Spaghetti Squash Pad Thai
Veggie Stir-fry & Rice
Salisbury Steak
Lettuce Wraps
Pot Roast
Jalapeno & Avocado Turkey Burgers
Fajitas
Gumbo
Cabbage, Sausage & Sweet Potatoes
Broccoli & Beef
Cajun Salmon, Rice & Asparagus
Smothered Pork Chops
Butternut Squash Soup
Tortellini w/ white sauce
Pancakes & Bacon
Tilapia Taco Bowl
