Fudgy Brownies

My former go-to dessert was a box of brownies because you can't screw them up. Recently, I signed up to bring brownies but didn't have a mix. To Pinterest I went. I found two recipes I really liked and decided to mix the parts I liked from each of them together.

Not only were they the best brownies I've ever had, they also took maybe 10 more minutes to make. Y'all ten minutes is NOTHING and so so worth it!

Fudgy Brownies

1 cup sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
1/2 cup flour
1/4 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
1/2 cup butter, melted
3 T coffee
2 eggs room temperature
1 t vanilla

Preheat the oven to 325°F.

Brew a cup of coffee. You will only need 3 tablespoons in this recipe. (Enjoy the rest!)

Whisk your butter and sugar really well. Beat in your eggs for a good minute. This step is crucial for that crackly top.

Mix in the eggs, vanilla, and coffee.

Add the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix until just combined. (Don't overmix)

Bake 20-25 minutes. Start checking at 18 minutes if you want OOEY GOOEY brownies!
