With a huge dog park for us to watch the puppies play, a long walking trail with a lake for us to enjoy the turtles and ducks, a story book walk thanks to St. Charles County Library, several pavilions for picnics, and of course the huge play area, there’s no reason for this to not be one of our favorites… and it’s several other families favorite , too.
The smaller children’s area it has a turf grass, a cute playground accessible for smaller tiny friends, musical instruments, a merry go round, and a slide where you can walk back up the hill to go down.
In another area is the swing section that also has another slide with a turf hill to climb up.
The water play area is always a huge hit in the summer! The splash pad is so fun but also the creek with dams to block water and splash in.
A huge hit is the turf hill. I’m not sure who supplies the cardboard, but I’m always thankful it’s there! It makes such a fun “sledding” hill that we’ve all had so much fun on.
The climbing net leads to a long metal slide, where you can usually find some bigger kids taking cardboard pieces to race down. There’s a pathway with a net to lay on and an overlook of the pond. There’s several more climbing elements on the “big kid” side, too!
There’s plenty of benches and places for a nice picnic, either at a table under a pavilion or on a grassy spot!
