One of the biggest playgrounds we've ever been to, this play ground didn't disappoint! I loved that this park was broken up into segments for different age groups so no one area was completely packed on the beautiful Saturday morning we went.

We first visited the Enchanted Garden, which was an area designed for all ages made of natural materials. This area allowed for sensory exploration and included stumps for climbing, logs to walk across, large concrete balls to climb on, an open mirror maze and huge table with seating.

Next, we went to the Slide Crater! This part was HUGE and definitely for those thrill seeking kiddos. While designed for 5 and up, our toddler was excited to climb and run across the bridge. This area was the most crowded and challenging to keep our eyes on him the entire time. There were several slides and climbing activities throughout this playground. Parents sat to watch their children from the perimeter and around one of the trees in the center.

We enjoyed playing in The Harbor area which is designed for those ages 2-5. It looks like a play marina with two boats for children to climb and swing on.

Nearby is The Sea, which was technically for 5-12, but the huge boat was beckoning to our toddler. The boat had multiple entrances and exits, climbing ladders, and huge steering wheel which kept him entertained for quite some time. There was several boulders that were great for climbing, too! Around the corner was a whale and in another section, a huge lighthouse with a fast slide! In another called the Wave Lawn had little dolphins, whales and boats, which were great for climbing and playing pretend.

The weekend we went there was a a small festival happening, so portable bathrooms were all over the place, but had that not been happening, the nearest bathroom was quite a ways away in the Field House.

In addition to the huge playground was the Chicago mini golf, a rock climbing feature, and a beautiful view of the skyline with the pedestrian bridge!
