Hidden in the back of a neighborhood is Laurel Park. There’s a large playground for ‘big kids’, and a smaller playground for our younger friends. This park is very large - I’m glad I do not go here alone with the two boys because the three play areas are pretty spread out and hard to maneuver with a stroller.
This park is actually really beautiful with mature trees and nature areas. There’s also an aquatic facility, a pond disc golf, pavilions, and of course the playground!
The electric/ music play area was really neat and something I haven’t seen at other playgrounds. I’m glad it was there, because the other playsets were extremely hot and not accessible during the time of the day that we went. They do have a few tables under a pavilion between the larger play set and smaller play set, but again, walking up and down the large hill from one side to another was a challenge with a baby (or even stroller) in tow. I think I would like to come back here one day when the boys are a little bigger now that I am more prepared!
