I love any little spots where the boys get to immerse theirselves in nature. The nature explore classroom at Towne Park is absolutely incredible - along with several walking trails, historic buildings, a lake, they have a cute forest theme playground!
The nature explore classroom is certified by the Arbor Day Foundation and Dimensions Educational Research Foundation and includes 11 learning stations for children to explore. It features the following areas: balance, building, dirt digging, gathering, messy materials, music and movement, nature art, open play, sand play, water, and wildflower. We played in several areas, but our favorites were the music and movement area, and the area with the bicycle!
