Guest Bathroom Remodel | Before & After

From yellow builder grade "oasis" to Chic Farmhouse Guest Bathroom

Before.

Our bathroom was a yellow, sea shell, china cabinet, builder grade "oasis" if you will. It wasn't terrible. I'll be honest. But it wasn't something I was ready to show off.

So with about $150 and some time, we created a more welcoming restroom. First thing, clean off ALL of the stickers from the mirror. Boy... did that take FOREVER and a bottle of GooGone.

Then, we painted the cabinets with Folk Art Parisian Grey chalk paint. It was around $5 at Michael's with a coupon. If you've never used chalk paint, it's so easy to apply and covers anything. There's no prep, aside from just wiping down the surface to remove any gunk.

AFTER

We got these cute handles from Hobby Lobby. Of course they were 50% off!

Teddy's favorite napping place is behind the toilet. He still fits there now, but it will be a sad day when he's too big. This shaggy towel is a close second though.
